One of our favourite blogs, artnouveau.gr, introduced us The Amsterdam Tattoo Museum! As its name denotes, the museum is all about tattoos. Visitors can go through the history of the art of tattooing or even experience live tatooing from the permanent resident tattooist Henk Schiffmacher or from various guest tattoo artists.
If you are planning to visit Amsterdam don’t forget to pass by the museum! One of a kind!

A tea service set, Silent Machine, is composed by functional products reflecting aesthetic interpretations on function-focused forms. Every single object can be identified when it is utilized as a part of the whole. Mathematically formulated silhouettes and details contribute to creating an image of mechanical regularity rather than being emphasized on their ornamentation.

“Inspired by the most common kind of wood and weed weaving the Weave cupboard represents an enlarged version of the technique of weaving something soft around a more stable structure. The top and bottom plane of the cupboard is held together by sticks kept together like a Windsor chair. Four of the sticks continue down to become legs and two are used as hinges. The weave covers the insides and serves as decoration.”
